Global warming            

       Do you notice that the winter is not as cold as it was before? Have you ever heard about that the earth is “having a fever”? The real reason for the “fever” is the global warming. Also, the global warming doesn’t only take the hot weather, but also bring so bad influences. Nowadays, many scientists are learning about its causes. They have found that the increasing number of the CO2 and decreasing number of the trees are the two big causes for the global warming.              

         First, I would say that as the development of people’s standard of living, more and more people have their own cars. Even though having a car can make the life easier than before; it also brings a huge problem at the same time. When I was in high school, my physical teacher told me that the efficiency of a modern automobile is only around 30%. The rest of gases are put into the air as heat; however, the heat contains lots of CO2. As the increasing of CO2, the earth seems to have a heavy quilt which lets the earth “have a fever”. Now more and more CO2 are getting together in the air to work as a barrier and stop the heat which are from the sun leaving the earth. As the number of the heat growing, more and more ice mountains in the North Pole disappear; as a result the temperature on the earth keeps growing and the increasing temperature cause the global warming.               

        Even though I would say the increasing number of the CO2 is a big cause of the global warming, other people may argue that the trees can take advantage of CO2 during the photosynthesis to produce the O2; however, they don’t realize that the trees around us are becoming less and less. Therefore, the high speed of global warming becomes a very serious problem is not only caused by the increasing number of the CO2, but also caused by the decreasing number of trees.              

         As the growing of population, people need lots of lands to build their homes; however, the more lands people need, the more forests are cut. I believe that almost all the people know the photosynthesis of the green plants can change CO2 into O2. The trees can be good helpers for us to reduce the CO2 in the air; however, we are losing the great helpers right now. People just think about their own avails, they just want to earn money by selling the land and cutting trees. And they have never thought about their lives and their generations. Therefore, the CO2 which are getting together in the air cannot be reduced in time by the trees; it is also a big cause of the global warming.            

         Due to the rising of CO2, the earth is “having a fever”. As a result of the earth’s “disease”, people have to face lots of terrible problems. Firstly, the high temperature can cause many heart diseases. As far as I know, people who have heart diseases don’t like the hot weather, because the hot weather can make their hearts work slowly and even make their hearts stop work. Also, when you hear the word hot, you may think about its opposite-cold at the same time. When the temperature keeps growing, some cold industries must be influenced; therefore, the second thing I want to talk is about the ski industry. People need to have some kinds of sports to relax themselves and some of them may like skiing, also there are some people working for the ski industry. If the temperature keeps increasing all the time, there will be no places for people to ski and some people who work for this industry will lose their jobs. It’s not fair for all of them. The final effort which is also the most serious problem is the global warming can also bring some extreme weather. The increasing temperature can thaw the ice mountains in the North Pole; the ice will be change into the rain and bring to the earth. If the temperature keeps growing, there will be lots of rain on the earth. What will happen next? The answer is flood. Are you ready to live in the water world? These terrible efforts all result from the global warming.               

          In brief, the global warming is caused by the increasing number of the CO2 and decreasing number of the trees and people have already experienced some of its terrible efforts. Therefore, it is the time to declare war on the global warming, also for our generations, les us try our best to make the earth cool by using energy-saving lights, buy a clean and efficient car and plant more trees.
